More and more popular are the decorations on the door. It can be various compositions: images of animals, words or a wreath.
From this article you will learn how to make a wreath on the door with your own hands from improvised materials.
Master class: autumn wreath at the door
It will take:
- sackcloth;
- ring (it can be plastic or polyurethane);
- scissors;
- glue gun;
- carnations;
- decorative ornaments: flowers, leaves;
- sewing accessories.
- We cut 3 long strips of sacking. They can be either the same or different widths.
- Turn our polyurethane ring around one of the strips, fixing the fabric as you complete the carnations.
- We take the second strip and from one edge we sew it with thick threads, pulling the end of which, we collect one edge. After we have done this, we tie it well so that it does not dissolve.
- We sew the pricked edge of the second strip to the ring wound around the sacking.
- To frills held tight, glue between the folds. We turn the workpiece face-to-face.
- Take the third strip of burlap and do creases on one side, repeating the action number 3. Sew it with the front side outwards to the top of the circle. It should be positioned closer to the middle, so that this layer does not cover the rear ruffles.
- Sew or glue to the first layer of sacking (below or above) prepared decorative ornaments.
To hang such a wreath on the door, from the back side to it we sew a loop, and at the door we drive a carnation or we fasten a hook.
