Preparation for the New Year involves pleasant efforts to make funny souvenirs and items for decoration of festive premises and gifts. We offer to sew a doll-tilde Santa Claus.
Master Class: Tilda Santa
You will need:
- red crocheted cloth for a cap and jacket;
- crepe fabric of a darker shade for pants;
- fabric light beige for face and body;
- cloth on the boots;
- golden narrow ribbon-braid;
- Woolen or synthetic light yarn for a beard;
- sintepon or holofayber (you can use another filler);
- shirts for rhinestones;
- a shiny bead on the cap;
- sewing accessories;
- sewing machine;
- paper for building a pattern;
- pencil and tailor's chalk.
Tilde of Santa Claus
- We begin work with the construction of patterns of the body and the costume.
- We transfer the pattern of body parts to beige fabric, the boot to brown fabric, jackets and a cap to red cloth, pants to material in a cage. We cut out all the constituent dolls with the allowance for a seam of 0.5 cm.
- Sew the fabric of the hood to the cut head, while both parts should be placed face to the front side.
- Sew the remaining parts. We turn and iron all parts of the future product.
- We sew panties. We fill the legs and pants with filler.
- Boots sewn to panties.
- Filling the body and handles, we sew the pants to the body, fixing the pins with the heads.
- Shirts and sleeves are lined with ribbon-braid.
- Sew the hangers, the side parts of the shirt and sew the sleeves.
- Straining the bottom and sewing buttons. Carefully hand the neck.
- We dress Tilda in a shirt.
- We sew a shiny bead to the cap. Sew a beard, we tint the face.
- From the shiny ribbon we make cuffs of pants and a French knot we perform lacing on boots. Also, we trim off the bezel on the cap with golden braid. We sew a bag.
- Elegant tilde Santa Claus is ready!
