What's interesting inside the castle?

Nowadays, the Museum of Arms and Medieval Instruments of Torture is opened in the castle. Next to it is a place for public executions, called Veerleplein. In addition, the castle building is partially surrounded by a moat.

In the Museum of Weapons there is a rather large assortment of swords, daggers, crossbows, swords and clubs. Most of the collection was assembled by industrialist Adolf Nate. Among the rare specimens, we will select pistols with inlay with pearls and ivory and various armor. This exhibition will undoubtedly be of interest to fans of historical weapons.
