Clafuti is a French dessert, which simultaneously features pie and casseroles. Clafuti is prepared as follows: the fruit is laid in oiled form, poured into a liquid egg batter and baked. Classic klafuti is made from fresh cherries with bones, but nowadays recipes using fruit without seeds (sometimes fresh, sometimes canned) are more popular. Clafuti is prepared not only from cherries, but, for example, from sweet cherry and / or other fruits. In the case of using large fruits, they are ground.
How to cook klafuti with cherries?
Ingredients:
- cherries of any kind - 400 g;
- butter, natural - 30-50 g;
- wheat flour - 100 g;
- sugar (can be in the form of powder) - 150 g;
- milk of medium fat content - 400 ml;
- cherry liqueur - 2 tbsp. spoons;
- egg - 4 pcs.
Preparation
Sweet cherries and carefully remove the bones. The shape is oiled with oil and we put cherries in it (it is convenient to use split molds or silicone ones).
We'll shoot the eggs with sugar with a whisk or a mixer at low speed. Let's drink milk, liqueur and add the sifted flour. Stir thoroughly so that there are no lumps. The density of the dough should be approximately like that of liquid sour cream.
Fill the sweet cherry in the form with a dough. Bake in an oven, heated to 180-200 degrees C, for about 35 minutes. Ready hot klafuti can be sprinkled with powdered sugar or pour glaze.
To make vanilla klafuti with cherries, you just add two pinches of natural vanilla to the dough (or you can replace it with cheaper vanilla sugar). In this version, it is better to use white cherry. Cherry liqueur is replaced with lemon (or you can use rum, brandy).

Ready chocolate potato with cherries makes sense to pour chocolate cream , which can be made from natural milk cream or yogurt and melted ready-made dark chocolate and / or cocoa powder (add it to the cream mixed with sugar). You can use not a cream, but chocolate or chocolate-fruit glaze. The surface of the clafuti will be well covered with grated chocolate. You can serve clafuti with tea, coffee, hibiscus, mate, rooibos, hot compote, natural juices, and also hot chocolate.
