On the eve of one of the most favorite holidays, Easter, it is worth taking care not only of delicious dishes for rending, but also the decor of the house. Made by hands for Easter, the topiary is original and beautiful. With such a wonderful gift you can go and visit.
We will need:
- cut out of foam rubber ball;
- a wooden or plastic stick;
- flower pot;
- floristic sponge;
- Easter eggs (can be replaced with colored containers in different colors from chocolate eggs);
- glue gun;
- decorative artificial grass, sisal, ribbons for decoration.
- Before you make an Easter tree-topiary with your own hands, boil and paint eggs. If you decide to use plastic containers, wipe them dry and distribute them in colors. This will simplify the work. Then take the glue gun and proceed to decorating the base ball from foam rubber. Try to stick the eggs so that the distance between them is minimal. Do not forget to alternate them by colors and direction.
- When the glue dries, and the parts are firmly fixed on the base, gently lubricate the gaps between them. Divide the decorative artificial floral grass into small bundles and fill the gap between the eggs with this material. This will help to hide the ball-base and give the paschal tree-topiary a round shape. Wait until the glue dries, and then cover the grass with white paint from the aerosol can. If the color of the floral grass is harmoniously combined with other elements of the craft, you can safely skip this step.
- Now it's time to start the stand for the topiary. You can use any capacity that you like. In our case, we use a decorative flower pot in the form of a garden bucket with a handle. From a floral sponge, cut out a square of this size so that it can be placed in a container with difficulty. For stability, you can fill gaps with stones or pebbles. Put the ball on a wooden trunk, pierce the sponge. For strength, you can fix the barrel with glue. It remains to decorate the trunk at the base with sisal or grass, tie a bow on it and a new topiary for celebrating Easter is ready!
