Master-class: balls from paper napkins

You will need:

• paper napkins;
• PVA glue;
• ball-base (made of foam rubber, papier-mache, foam or ordinary balloon);
• scissors;
• thread.

Manufacture:

1. We begin with the production of flowers. Of the napkins, we cut strips about 25 cm long, 12.5 cm wide.
2. On the long side of the strip we add the "accordion".
3. In the center of each "accordion" we make a bandage with a thread and straighten the part from both sides. We get a fluffy flower that looks like a chrysanthemum.
4. We make a lot of similar blanks. In our work, flowers of two colors are used, respectively, half of the flowers are made from napkins of pale pink color, and the other half from bright pink napkins.
5. Take the ball-base (we have a floristic sponge of a circular shape). Abundantly lubricate the bottom of the flowers with PVA glue, glue them, alternating in color. If a balloon is used as the basis, it must first be pasted with small pieces of newsprint to keep the flowers firmly on the surface of the base.
6. A bright ball of paper napkins is placed in a vase, but you can, after making and carefully fixing the eyelet, hang it.

As an element of decorating the ball, it is possible to choose other flowers, for example roses.

1. Strips of napkins are also cut to make roses, but they must be more authentic. Each strip is twisted into a tube, and folds are periodically made. It will be buds.
2. When the bud is twisted, it is necessary, strongly pressing, to twist the leg. The leg should be cut to the very top, so that the flowers are well kept on the surface of the ball.
3. When a lot of buds are twisted, we glue them to the ball-basis.
4. In order for the floral ball to look presentable, you can cover it with a golden or silver paint from an aerosol can.
