Ethics and morality are inseparable concepts that appeared in ancient times. In society there are certain traditions and rules that are carried out behind the scenes. Morality can be called one of the ways to regulate behavior in society. Thanks to her, there is a formation of views, an understanding of the meaning of life and duty to other people.

Ethics as a doctrine of morality

In general, we can distinguish three functions of ethics: describe, explain and teach. Morality can be used to characterize an individual personality and its qualities. In another manifestation, it describes the relationship between people. Human activities are so diverse that it is often not enough to use certain moral standards. The thing is that many "commandments" are generalized and do not take into account the concrete situation. The ratio of ethics and morality is determined on the basis of public opinion, which often does not guarantee morality. Experts assure that every person has the right to choose for himself how to act in this or that situation, but at the same time take into account the general moral rules. It is important to separate the real and ideal or propagated system of morality. It is formed primarily due to upbringing, but at the same time it practically does not lend itself to analysis and correction. In general, we can say that morality is the subject of ethics.

In addition to ethics and morals, morality is of great importance, which is a system of values . It is expressed in the form of human principles and laws. They manifest morality in interpersonal relationships: in the family, with the collective and with other people, and in relations to oneself. To categories of morality are such qualities: honor, freedom, responsibility, etc. Problems of morality are studied by ethics. Morality and morality, despite their similarity, have differences, so the first is taken for granted, and the second for valid.
