Flower topiary made of felt

After sewing children's felt toys, I still have small cuttings of thin felt. It's a pity to throw it out, so I decided to make a floral topiary for a change.

So, I needed:

• trimming felt (I have 2 colors - red and green, you can any other colors);
• Pins (needles with a bead, you can with an iron loop, but the bead looks more beautiful);
• wire for the trunk;
• floralent for the winding of the trunk (or string of floss, twine, ribbon-all that is in the household);
• scissors for cutting our flowers;
• Glue (I have hot melt - a very versatile thing);
• polystyrene foam (I had a round for topiariy for a long time, it costs a penny in the shops for creativity, but I did it from ordinary polystyrene-just glued pieces);
• ribbon for decoration (on the arm caught, well, not in vain ;-));
• pot where we plant our floral topiary.

Performance:

1. First, cut out the flowers. For this, it is most convenient to make squares of two sizes - larger and smaller (2cm and 1.5cm). I did not make a template - they do not have to be smooth and the same - on the contrary, it is more beautiful if the flowers differ in both size and shape. Better immediately prepare more, for watching your favorite TV series.
2. Well, now on our pins on 2 flowers are stuck - a little and more (you can and 3 do, as the fantasy tells - from this flower will only be more spacious).
3. We fix the barrel of the topiary in a glass: I filled the wire with a hot-melt glue, and you can pour alabaster, depending on what you plant your tree.
4. We'll wind the wire with florenthene or whatever you have, we will make the foam plastic.
5. Now the most pleasant and interesting activity is to design a floral topiary. It's very simple and exciting: you just need to place flowers in the way fantasy tells you.
6. I found a small ribbon, it was very useful for decorating my felt miracle.
7. And even the scraps from the flowers I had attached (first they were divided into flowers separately - red and green in a glass, but the son still decided that it was more beautiful to mix colors ... I did not argue with my assistant.
8. All is ready! Very simple, and most importantly very beautiful - and as a decor in the interior, and as an excellent gift to relatives or friends!
