Heating greenhouses is an important issue of interest to many. Plants grown in winter are vitally necessary, because without it they can not develop. Options for heating the greenhouse in winter
Owners of greenhouses are available several ways to heat this room in winter:
- The simplest is the installation of a greenhouse over a heating main in the ground. However, even in this case, the temperature will have to be further regulated by other methods.
- Biological heating of greenhouses is very popular now. It consists in placing in the soil of organic substances (usually horse manure). Expanding, it emits heat, which allows not only to warm, but also to moisten the soil through the evaporation process, and to enrich the air with carbon dioxide. - Solar batteries provide a comfortable temperature in the greenhouse, even when the window is "minus". In the ground, greenhouses dig a pit into which a layer of heat insulator is laid, and on top covered with polyethylene film, wet sand and earth.
- If the greenhouse needs to be heated quickly, it is possible to organize so-called air heating. To do this, a steel pipe is conducted in the greenhouse, on the other side of which a bonfire is built. A major disadvantage of this method is the need for constant maintenance of combustion.
- Electric heating can facilitate the work of a person caring for a greenhouse. The radiators and convectors, heaters and infrared heaters are used as devices for such heating.
- A gas bottle sometimes becomes the best way of how to heat a greenhouse in winter. However, remember: the excess carbon dioxide is harmful to plants, so in such a greenhouse should be a well-thought-out ventilation system.
- Furnace heating is not difficult to organize with your own hands. The role of the stove is performed by a conventional barrel, while a chimney is laid along the entire length of the greenhouse, and a brick furnace is organized in the tambour. In addition, with this method, it is possible to organize drip irrigation of the greenhouse with the help of cooled water, which is drained from the barrel.
- The most effective and financially beneficial is the water heating of the greenhouse. To do this, you can install a solid fuel boiler or a homemade heater, welded from old pipes and TEN.
