Causes of inflammation of the bladder

Cystitis occurs due to the penetration of the infection in the urethra and above and the further reproduction of pathogenic bacteria there. This can happen if the rules of personal hygiene, improper washing, prolonged stay of a baby in a dirty diaper are not respected, but hypothermia, overfatigue, reduced immunity and other factors that weaken the body contribute to the development of cystitis.

Inflammation of the bladder in children: treatment

Before the treatment of cystitis, a general urine test is mandatory, and if there is a suspicion of pyelonephritis, ultrasound of the kidneys is also required.

The sick child is shown bed rest, refusal of active games, and also reception of antibiotics of wide action (augmentin, traumel C and others). Assign also diuretics in order to "wash" the infection from the urethra as quickly as possible, and a copious drink.

As an addition to therapy it is recommended to take warm sedentary baths with the addition of medicinal herbs: calendula, sage, chamomile.
