Tomatoes cut crosswise, dip into boiling water and leave to blanch for about a minute. After a while, remove them and peel them, then cut them arbitrarily and fairly large. Place the fresh herbs and tomatoes in a stainless steel bowl, pour all the lemon juice, add the chopped garlic and salt with sugar. Place the next sauce over medium heat and leave the chew until tomatoes start to boil. Divorce the tomato slices with a blender, season the sauce with vinegar and pour over clean jars. Cover each can with cans and send to sterilize. The time of the last depends on the chosen method and the volume of used packaging.

Dried tomatoes with basil

If you have already dried tomatoes and the main task is only to add a taste variety, then this recipe will come to the rescue. Thanks to a small number of basil leaves, dried tomatoes will become more aromatic and tastier at times.

Wash the jars well and also thoroughly dry them. Put a layer of dried tomatoes on the bottom, cover them with several basil branches. Repeat the layers until you fill the jar, then pour the contents with olive oil, making sure that it completely covers the tomato slices. Roll the cans with scooped lids and store the workpiece in the cold.

Canned cherry tomatoes with basil for the winter

Start by preparing a simple marinade. Bring about a liter of water to a boil and throw into it the sprigs of basil. Pour in the vinegar, add laurel, sugar and half a tablespoon of salt. Remove the marinade from the fire and fill them with tomatoes. Leave it to cool. You can spread the pods on clean cans, and bring the marinade to a boil again and fill them with the contents of the cans. Immediately roll up the container with pre-sterilized lids. Tomatoes with basil for the winter without sterilization are then left until completely cooled in an inverted form, and only then placed for storage.
