If your pantry is full of a variety of canned billets, then for sure among them there are a couple of varieties of jam from berries and fruits that can not only be served in a bowl for a cup of tea, but also used in baking recipes. This is what we decided to do in this material, dedicated to pies with jam.
Pies with raspberry jam
Ingredients:
- flour - 760 g;
- instant yeast - 8 g;
- granulated sugar - 55 g;
- milk - 480 ml;
- vegetable oil - 95 ml;
- a peel of one orange;
- eggs - 3 pieces;
- raspberry jam - 240 ml;
- Butter - 55 g.
Preparation
Put together all the dry ingredients from the list. Preheat the milk so that it is hardly warm, and pour it into the dry mixture with the beaten eggs and vegetable oil. Before mixing, add dough with orange peel. Elastic and malleable, cover and put in warmth for an hour.
Roll out the dough that came up, divide it into slices, put jam in the center of each and pinch the edges. Distribute the pies on a baking sheet, cover them with a layer of melted butter and only, then send it to bake in a preheated 180 degree oven for half an hour.
How to make pasty pies with jam?
If there is no time and no desire to bother with cooking baking, then buy a ready-made puff pastry and make pies with it.
Ingredients:
- puff yeast dough - 2 leaves;
- jam - 430 ml;
- egg yolk.
Preparation
Roll out both layers of dough, divide them into an even number of rectangles. Half of all the rectangles are covered with jam and cover with the second half of the dough. The edges are fastened together, and the surface is greased with a diluted egg yolk. Bake cakes at 200 degrees for 15-18 minutes.
Patties with jam in the oven
Ingredients:
- dough yeast dough;
- fruit jam - 365 ml;
- walnuts - 115 g;
- orange peel - 3 strips;
- milk - 45 ml.
Preparation
Knead the yeast dough on your favorite recipe and leave it to fit. The use of this dough is fundamental, since it perfectly retains the liquid filling without sagging. Actually, for the filling itself, it is necessary to combine the grated citrus peel with jam and shredded nuts, and then preheat everything in medium heat until the sweet syrup boils. Thickened jam distribute between portions of dough, pinch the edges, oil the surface with milk and leave everything to bake at 180 degrees until blanch.
