Personality and individuality

Many people in the modern world do not understand the difference between the concepts of personality and individuality, often identifying these two definitions.

View from the inside

In fact, individuality is a property of the individual, giving it unique and unique in its way and distinguishing it from the rest of the public mass. More clearly, this can be represented as follows: a person is a view of society on a person, an assessment of his social relationships and the degree of compliance with a particular structure of society; Individuality is a subjective view of oneself, an acquired set of clearly expressed qualities and characteristics from which the personality is subsequently formed.

I'm so alone!

Individuality of the person is shown in many spheres of a human life, beginning from professional activity and finishing interaction with the nearest environment. It is thanks to the "bricks" of individuality that each of us differs from billions of similar ones and we can safely assert that the entire evolution of the human race and, accordingly, the development of civilization took place only because nature endowed each individual with individual characteristics, enabling individual members of society in their qualities to complement each other, thereby connecting all the links of the chain into a single whole.

Reflection in the eyes

Man, as a person and individuality is constantly evolving, from the moment of birth. Without this development, the complex organization of society would be simply not viable. Most clearly individual personality traits are manifested in crisis situations. Ability to quickly make right decisions and take responsibility for their actions and for the actions of others - all this is an indicator of the individual traits of a person, and these traits can have both positive and negative evaluation in the eyes of the social group to which he belongs. And from this assessment, the further development of the personality as a whole largely depends. Looking into the eyes of other people and seeing their reflection there, we draw certain conclusions, based on which and decide which way we will move on. It is from the attitude towards others around us that all psychology depends to a large extent individuality of personality. We are trying to adapt to the rules of the game, accepted in the society and yet not be on its day. Bright individuality almost guarantees a person success in all spheres of his activity, which is a clear example and a stimulus for other members of the society.

Personality and personality in psychology have sufficiently blurred faces and often they smoothly flow one into another. Man is a social being and it is impossible to form certain qualities in oneself without looking at society. Therefore, when working with these two sides of the same medal, psychologists usually take into account all the objective and subjective factors that influence the patient's behavioral reactions, as well as the problems associated with his relationship with the social environment and the immediate environment.
