Potato zrazy with minced meat

Zrazy is an original dish in Polish and Lithuanian national cuisines, popular also in Belarus, Ukraine and Russia. The general idea of ​​preparing meals is this: from the cutlet mass, the main product of which, most often, is chopped meat, form a cake. In the cake wrap the filling (for example, chopped boiled eggs with browned onions and greens). Next, bend the edges of the cake and form a product like a patty with stuffing. Zrazy fry or cook for a couple, and options are possible with baking.

Stew this mixture with the addition of spices, sometimes stirring for 15 minutes. Cool the mixture so that it is warm, add crushed garlic, chopped herbs and 1 egg, stir vigorously with a fork, salt a little.

In mashed potatoes, add 2 eggs and mix, if too much liquid is obtained, adjust the consistency with wheat flour or starch.

We form tortillas from potato mass, we spread in the center of each stuffing from minced meat with onions and mushrooms, bend the edges and form-mold the zrazy. Such products are already edible. But we want more delicious.

In the frying pan, we heat the fat. We pour out zrazes in flour or breadcrumbs and lightly fry until light golden hues. You can fry without breading. Serve zrazy potato warm with herbs and light sauces (for example, based on sour cream or cream), you can serve horseradish or mustard. Under this dish, rye bread with caraway seeds will be very appropriate, as well as a glass-another stalk, teeth or a strong berry tincture.
