Steak from salmon in the oven

Steaks are called exclusively beef, or rather specially sliced ​​meat of young bull-calves. However, we see in the trade networks not only beef, but also steaks from lamb, pork, fish. Most often salmon steaks are offered.

Salmon - a fish with a pinkish-orange flesh and dense skin, belongs to a family of valuable commercial (salmon) fish. Of course, I want to keep the maximum benefit when cooking, so we try to cook salmon as quickly as possible. The most common methods are pickling and baking. In order not to interrupt the taste of fish and not to reduce its usefulness, we use a minimum of components and prepare very quickly.

Carefully choose the fish - the color of the pulp should not be bright: scarlet, crimson or crimson, which means that the salmon has been tinted. A gentle pink-orange shade will be just right. We clean the carcass from the scales and cut into steaks (if the fish is already sliced, just gently scrape off the scales from the surface). Mine and lightly dry off the steaks with napkins. Mix a tablespoon of butter with the same amount of lemon juice, salt and oregano. We cover the baking tray with the remaining oil, spread the steaks on it and lubricate them with the prepared mixture, using a brush. We cook fish for a short time - 15 minutes in a heated oven at a temperature of 180 degrees is enough. Steaks of salmon, baked in the oven, are tender and fragrant. We serve them with greens and slices of lemon. Of course, the best way to fish is to serve dry, unsalted white wine.

We use foil

So that the fish is baked evenly and remains as juicy and aromatic as possible, we prepare a salmon steak in the oven in foil. Components again take the minimum.

We clean the fish, mine, especially carefully - inside and slightly dry, after which we cut into steaks with a step of about 2 cm. In a small pial, we mix sour cream, salt, pepper, wine. Each steak is dipped in this mixture and distributed throughout the surface, then we pack them separately in foil, greasing it with oil, so that the fish does not stick. From the foil we form the boats in such a way that they can then be easily opened. We put the boats on the baking tray and send everything to the oven for 15 minutes, then open the foil and sprinkle the steaks with lime juice. The salmon steak in the oven will perfectly match with vegetable salads or potatoes, vegetables cooked on the grill. We serve steaks, sprinkling them finely chopped dill.

Also very tasty is the salmon steak in the oven in a creamy sauce . Instead of sour cream, we use fat cream. Although it is possible and in another way: we serve baked in the oven fish with cream sauce, cooked to your taste.
