Tycho Brahe's Planetarium


Probably every second tourist goes to Denmark for the beauty and grandeur of its medieval architecture. But do not forget about more modern places, which cause considerable interest among the public. And a prime example is the Tycho Brahe Planetarium in Copenhagen .

The building of the planetarium is a cylinder with a beveled top. In 1988, the Danish architect Knud Mung built it with the sole purpose of placing a super-modern planetarium here. The complex is named after the astronomer Tycho Brahe, who discovered without a telescope a new star in the constellation Cassiopeia. In the hall of the building, on the floor, the motto of the scientist is engraved: "Do not think, but be."

Films are shown in Danish, but there is an opportunity to purchase headphones with English translation for a fee of 20 kroons.

A museum is permanently housed in the building of the planetarium. In the center of attention of visitors is the exhibition "Journey in space".
