Whatever kind of dance you are not addicted to, every time before the beginning of the classes you will perform an easy warm-up. This is the first and main rule of the beginning of any lesson in the dance direction. The warm-up before dancing is by no means a whim of instructors: it helps warm up the muscles and does not injure them during the classes, and also ensures the most plastic performance of all those offered during the ligament session.
Warm up before dancing: general rules
As we have already determined, warm-up and dancing are things that are inseparable from each other. In this case, the instructors in every single warm-up program try to include those movements that are aimed at warming up the muscles involved directly in the dance. However, the warm-up for dancing will include universal movements. For example, these are:
- standing exactly, feet on the width of the shoulders, hands on the waist. The head inclines back and forth four times;
- the situation is the same. Head tilts to the left to the four accounts. The head can be slightly pulled to the shoulder by hand;
- the situation is the same. Turns of the head to the right and left (depending on the type of dance, either slowly, or rather sharply);
- the situation is the same. Rotating the head clockwise and counterclockwise by 4 counts 2 times in each direction;
- the situation is the same. Lifting the shoulders is first one slow, then fast, then the second one, then - both together quickly, then - in turn;
- the situation is the same. Cut and dilate the shoulder blades, respectively rounding and arching your back;
- the situation is the same. Lean forward, keeping your back straight, pull your arms out in front of you and reach for them. Then do the same in the direction to the sides;
- the situation is the same. Move the pelvis one way, feel the muscles of the thigh stretch. Then repeat for the other side.
The warm-up before dancing for children also includes all these stages. In addition, it is important to use those muscles that will be used in dance - for example, squats or lunges, if you need a strengthened thigh warm-up.
Warm up before strip-plastic
Warm-up before such dances as strip-plastic, in addition to the usual part, must include the elements necessary for working out the muscles before a particular occupation. It can be:
- attacks on sides and forward;
- circular rotation of the chest - first by points: forward-right-back-left, then smoothly. After that, repeat in the other direction;
- squats in the power of sumo;
- Some elements that are necessary in the dance - for example, wave forward and back;
- execution of the "eight" hips forward and back;
- slopes forward-backward and sideways;
- exercises for stretching the back, legs.
In rare cases, an additional warm-up for the hands is needed. Usually strip-plastic requires just a good stretch, flexibility, which allows you to perform all movements in the most graceful and expressive. Not all this miracle is given from birth, but by persistent trainings it is possible to develop and the ability to beautifully and smoothly move.
Warm up before the eastern dances
The warm-up that starts belly dancing includes all the necessary elements, plus a strengthened program for the chest and thighs - in fact, in this dance they are given the leading role. In addition, oriental dances often require an additional strengthening warm-up for the hands (especially if the lesson plans to study dance with a handkerchief). To add to the normal program, you can:
- rotation by a breast in a circle clockwise and counter-clockwise;
- Rotating hips in a circle clockwise and counter-clockwise;
- "Eight" hips forward and back;
- "Eight" chest forward and backward.
The main thing is to maximally use and make plastic move those parts of the body that will participate in the dance. Then the training will be fruitful and without the risk of injury!
