This time, we change our grandmother's recipes to a modern style and prepare several kinds of compotes from the forest strawberry. Ready-made drink can be tried immediately after preparation, and it will be possible to pour on sterile cans and prepare for the winter.
Compote of wild strawberry for the winter
Ingredients:
- strawberries - 480 g;
- water - 1,2 l;
- granulated sugar - 160 g;
- lemon juice - 15 ml.
Preparation
Sprinkle the strawberries from the pedicels, rinse to get rid of strong contaminants, and pour into the bottom of the enameled pot. Pour the berries with water and cook for 5 minutes after boiling. Then add sugar, add lemon juice and keep on fire for a similar period of time. Finished compote try and pour more sugar, if necessary. Place the jars on the sterilization with the lids. Pour hot compote on sterile jars and roll.
Compote of strawberries and apples
Ingredients:
- apples - 350 g;
- juice of 3 oranges;
- berries of strawberries - 1 item;
- sugar - to taste.
Preparation
Peeled apples are cut into slices and placed on the bottom of stainless cookware. There, too, send strawberry berries, freed from the fruit stalks. Pour the contents of the dishes half a liter of water and allow the liquid to boil. After, pour in the orange juice, add sugar and cook the compote for another 5 minutes. Strawberry and strawberry compote
Preparation of this compote is more like jam cooking, which is then diluted with water and turns into a full compote. Due to the fact that the integrity of the berries is completely violated, on the way out we get a rich berry drink, with which the usual compote and can not be compared.

Preparation

Ingredients:
- blueberries - 320 g;
- strawberries - 280 g;
- granulated sugar - 180 g;
- a vanilla pod;
- lemon juice - 35 ml.
Preparation
We rinse the berries, cut strawberries from strawberries and put it together with blueberries in stainless steel utensils. Fill berries with 2.5 liters of water, put on fire and cook for 7 minutes after boiling. In the compote add sugar, lemon juice and seeds from a vanilla pod. The pod itself can also be put into a drink, there is still enough flavor left in it. Another minute and compote can be removed from the fire and cooled.
How to cook compote of strawberries and rhubarb?
Ingredients:
- rhubarb - 460 g;
- strawberries - 290 g;
- water - 1.5 liters;
- honey - 45 ml;
- mint leaves - 15-20 pieces;
- lime juice - 60 ml.
Preparation
Since the rhubarb is cooked longer than the berries, we send it to the pan first, after having arbitrarily cut into large pieces, and then the bay with water. After 5 minutes to the stems can be added and berries strawberries. After the berries, put a couple of sprigs of mint, they will make the ready-made drink slightly fresher. A couple more minutes and you can pour honey and lime juice. Remove the drink from the heat and completely cool before use.
