Let's start the preparation of the pie with kneading the dough: we sift the flour with a slide on the table, add a pinch of salt, put the cold oil cut into cubes into the center of the slide, and cut the butter with flour with the help of a knife until the crumb is formed. Transfer the crumb from the dough into a bowl and pour 3-4 tablespoons of ice water and mix a smooth, but tight dough. We divide all the dough into two parts, each of which is wrapped with food film, and placed in the refrigerator.

While the dough is resting in the fridge, you can tackle the filling: zest and juice of one orange are mixed with sliced ​​apples, cranberries, raisins and sugar.

Shortcake dough thinly rolled on dusted with flour surface, put in a greased pie shape and fill the filling. The remainder of the dough is cut into strips, which must be laid crosswise over the filling. Lubricate the pie with a beaten egg and sprinkle with sugar.
