Also, Elkar drops are prescribed to stimulate appetite in anorexia nervosa and other identical diseases associated with cessation of eating.

How much to drink drops of Elkar, and in what dosage, usually the doctor recommends, depending on the available indications:
- intensive loads - 0,75-2,25 g, three times a day;
- rehabilitation, anorexia - 1.5 g twice daily;
- Disease of digestion - 0.375 g 2 times in 24 hours;
- skin diseases - 0.75 g once;
- hyperthyroidism - 0.25 g three times a day;
- brain damage - 0.75 g once;
