Cake "Volcano of Joy" with nuts - recipe

Ingredients:

Preparation

Preliminarily bring the oven temperature to 180 ° C. Lubricate and cover the parchment shape with a diameter of 18 cm, as well as molds of 800 ml and 1.2 liters.

With a mixer, whisk a very soft butter with sugar, add eggs and milk to it. The latter is a self-rising flour. Less than half of the test is poured into an 18-cm form, half of the remaining mass is colored with a red food color. 4 tablespoons of the dyed dough is added to the dough in the form and with the help of a spoon we hardly mix both masses, creating a marble effect. The remaining dough with the dye and without pouring over the shapes also create a marble effect on the surface. Bake the last two biscuits for 30 minutes, and the dough in the 18-cm form for about an hour or until placed in the center of the biscuit stick will not go dry.

Now proceed to the molding of the cake "Volcano". In the basis lay out a lined 18-cm biscuit, and on top of it we place the two remaining biscuit, cutting their edges so that they become less and less to the top, that is, resemble the shape of a volcano. Between the placement of each subsequent biscuit lubricate the previous apricot syrup.

We roll the marzipan and lay it on top of our volcano, having previously spread out some of the nuts and chocolates on the surface of the cake, creating unevenness simulating the hills. It is ideal to prepare a cake "Vulcan" with walnuts, but depending on the required texture, the nuts can be mixed.

We melted the chocolate and covered the volcano from the outside, laying out candy and the remaining nuts. Red caramel melted in a microwave and poured on paper for baking, frozen caramel placed in the center of the volcano's mouth simulating lava.
