"Lazy" dumplings

We all love pelmeni, especially homemade ones. There are many recipes for home-made dumplings, but they need to be sculpted, and this requires considerable effort and time. It is much easier to cook "lazy" dumplings - it's much easier and faster, and the result will definitely surprise and please your home and guests.

Knead the dough from the flour of water and eggs, it should not be too steep. In the minced meat, add crushed onions and greens, spices and a necessary egg. You can also add chopped finely chopped olives and grated cheese to the filling.

How to make lazy dumplings?

We roll out a long, rectangular-shaped mold. At the top of the test lay out the filling and roll the roll tightly. We wrap the roll in a food film and place it in the freezer for 10-20 minutes. A little stuck roll cut into cylinders (step about 3 cm). Obtained "lazy" dumplings-roses. It can also be done in another way: with the back side of the knife we ​​take a roll (step about 3 cm), then cut, lazy dumplings in the form of pads are obtained (these pelmeni should be cooked as usual, that is, cooked or steamed).

Dishes with "lazy" dumplings

"Lazy" dumplings in the form of roses are very delicious, if you put them out in a deep frying pan or stewpot on a vegetable substrate, you still need onions, carrots, butter.

Preparation

Finely cut the peeled onion and a small carrot (or we rub it on a large grater). Save the onions in a frying pan in oil until the color changes on low heat, then add the carrots and mix. We spread pelmeni from above the onion-carrot substrate in one layer so that it is not crowded. We pour it all with water or broth (meat or mushroom - about half a glass), or it can be a creamy or tomato sauce. Cover with a lid and simmer for about half an hour at the lowest heat. Before serving, we make out greens. If prepared with broth, you can separately serve sauces. It turned out an interesting and delicious and hearty dish.

Baked "lazy" dumplings

In about the same way, you can prepare "lazy" dumplings-rosettes in the oven.

Preparation

In the frying pan, prepare the onion-carrot substrate (see above). We shift it into a refractory mold, spread evenly, lubricated with butter. On the substrate lay out not closely "lazy" dumplings. Pour broth or sauce. Cover with a lid or foil. Bake in the oven for about 40-50 minutes. If you want a beautiful crust, remove the lid or foil 15 minutes before cooked and continue baking. When the dish is ready, it is good to sprinkle all the grated cheese, it will taste better. We make greenery and serve it to the table, it is possible with sauces, but without bread.

"Lazy" fried dumplings - recipe

Of course, roasting as a method of thermal processing of products is not the most healthy, but sometimes it's very desirable. To fry (in general something) is better quickly, not on sunflower oil, but on melted creamy, olive, rapeseed or light animal fats (pork or chicken).

Preparation

First we prepare a roll of fresh dough with meat filling (see above). Cut the roll into cylinders, step about 2-2.5 cm - it's more convenient to fry.

We warm the oil well in a frying pan, do not regret oil. Fry "lazy dumplings from both sides to light golden hues on medium heat and bring to readiness under the lid on low heat for 8 minutes. In the process of cooking fried "lazy" dumplings, the pan is shaken periodically. Serve with herbs and sauces.
