Reproduction of black currant cuttings is a common method in gardeners. They have the same qualities as the mother bush. This method is good because it requires minimal time, and only two seedlings out of ten will not survive.

At the other end, an oblique cut is made, one centimeter below the kidney. It is not recommended to select a stem larger than 12 cm.
  2. Soil preparation. Before landing, the ground is digged and leveled. It is applied soil mixture of sand, peat or compost.
  3. Carrying out the landing. Sprigs are planted at a certain angle, a little apart from each other. Between the rows observe a gap of 8 cm. The depth of planting is 2-3 cm. The earth is compacted, watered and covered with a film. The branch must almost completely be underground. Above the ground are only a small process.
  4. Creation of a greenhouse or its similarity. The latter means a piece of land that is covered with PVC film or plastic bottles. The sun should not scorch saplings, so the containers are treated with whitewash, covered with gauze.
  5. Regularly produce watering, which is an important part of planting work and care.

It is also possible to propagate black currant cuttings in August. In this case, half-aged, one-year-old cuttings are taken and soaked in a special solution. Before planting, the necessary fertilizers are added.

Taking care of the plant, they do everything possible that a thin film of moisture has formed. This is achieved by spraying. In order not to form condensation, it is necessary to carry out ventilation. The root system will form in a week or two. After that, the green stalk is watered less often.

Water and hilling contribute to a good growth of the seedling. The hillock is carefully guarded against pests and diseases until next spring. In spring, the cuttings are planted in the open ground to grow. In June they are pricked, removing 2-3 leaves. In autumn they return to a permanent place or recycle.
