Progress:

1. To make the correct semicircle, fix the marker on a string equal to the width of the material exactly on the middle of the fabric.
2. Stepping away from the midpoint on the top edge of 15 cm, make a small semicircle.
3. We cut the matter along the lines drawn. Additionally, over the entire width of the fabric, we cut off strips 5 cm wide.
4. We try on the length of the child's strip, enough to tie it to her neck. If the strip is very long cut off excess.

Master class: how to make a crown for the king's costume

It will take:

• crocheted lace, necessary length;
• gelatin;
• bijouterie;
• silver or gold acrylic paint;
• a piece of cardboard or a small tube of hard paper;
• microwave oven;
• tools: brushes, polyethylene gloves, scissors, pencil, bowls, scotch tape.

Progress:

1. Cut the lace of the desired length, sew the ends, to make the ring and give it rigidity. To do this, 1-1.5 teaspoons of gelatin is poured with warm water and leave to swell for 40-50 minutes. Then we heat this mass in a water bath and fill it with lace for 20-30 minutes.
2. We make a piece of paper to pull the lace: cut off the cardboard strip of width 10 cm and the same length as the lace, and using Scotch we fix the ends to make a cylinder.
3. Putting the lace on the paper cylinder, put it in the microwave for 30-40 seconds at maximum temperature, then remove the workpiece and apply another gelatin layer. Repeat this action 7-8 times until the lace becomes stiff.
4. Remove the lace from the cylinder and dry it again in the microwave (30 sec).
5. On the dried product, apply the selected paint brush and put it to dry, but not in the microwave, but simply on the windowsill.
6. After the paint has dried well, we decorate with light jewelry: brooch, rhinestones, beads. The crown is ready!

To supplement the basic elements of the costume, you can sew a wide lace, which is worn over the mantle.

And decorating the ordinary shoes of the child with a bow to match the color of the main dress.

Choosing the basic fabric for making a costume for the king, you can take not only the red fabric, but also gold, blue, white. But for the crown and for additional elements (sashes, ropes, lace, braid), it is necessary to take a gold color.
