How to sew a tomato costume - the first way
Our costume will require:
- two knitted T-shirts of red color - one T-shirt should be a child in size, and the second - 2-3 sizes larger;
- felt or felt green;

- We turn out a big T-shirt inside out and sew on the bottom line with a smaller one, adding as necessary.

For the costume we need:
- T-shirt of red color is three sizes larger than the normal size of the child's clothes;
- a narrow satin ribbon;
- remnants of white, green and black felt;
- glue.

- We turn the bottom of the T-shirt inside out and pin it with pins.
- We apply a podgibku and make in it from the wrong side neat cuts every 5-7 cm.

- As in previous cases, we do not need a pattern for this tomato costume. We just take two pieces of orange or red cloth, 50 cm wider than the hips and the length equal to the distance from the shoulders to the hips and fold them inwards.
- Then we sew the details along the sides, simultaneously giving them a rounded shape. Do not forget to leave slits for your hands. We perform shoulder seams.
- We process all sections on the sewing machine with a zigzag stitch.
- To the neck we sew a collar made of green fabric, carved in the form of leaves.
- At the same time, we slightly attach the top of our suit, laying creases under the collar. You need to do this evenly, so that the costume falls nicely, and not frayed.
- Now you need to get beautiful folds on the bottom of the suit.
- To do this, turn our lower cutoff inside out and put it at a distance of 1.5 cm, and then we'll pass the shoestring. Pulling the ends of this lace, it will be possible to adjust our suit by the figure.
