Yeast pie with cranberries - recipe

If you have cooked cranberries for the winter in one way or another, you can pamper your home and guests in the winter-spring period, if you take delicious vitamin pies from yeast or puff pastry with cranberry filling as a dessert.

Dough (especially puff, well, yeast too) for pies can be bought ready in supermarkets, kitchens and other catering establishments. And it is better, of course, to knead the dough by yourself.

First, we prepare the spoon: lightly heat up the milk or water (not above the body temperature) and dissolve sugar and yeast in it. Add 2 tablespoons of flour, mix thoroughly and put in a warm place for 20-30 minutes.

After this time, we pour the spoon into a bowl and start sifting flour there, kneading the dough. We roll it with a lump, cover it with a clean linen napkin and put it in a warm place for 20 minutes, after which we knead and knead the dough. Again, cover and place the dough in the heat for another 20 minutes. Repeat the cycle from 3 to 5 times.

Now pie. When the dough is well suited, roll it into a sheet about 0.5 cm thick and form the substrate. Or put it in the form and cut off the edges, or put the backing on the baking tray and stick the edge. Fill the cake with berry stuffing and make a mesh or other pattern of thin flagellum dough. We bake a pie with cranberries in the oven for 30-40 minutes at medium temperature. About the readiness can be judged by the color and smell. Finished cake greased with egg white or butter. We serve for tea or coffee.

A yeast pie with apples and cranberries is baked exactly the same way, only finely chopped fresh apples can be added to the filling.
