For work you will need:

  1. Let's start creating irises from paper with our own hands with template preparation. Approximately the shapes should be: the smallest pointed petal, teardrop-shaped middle and rounded large.
  2. To make iris from corrugated paper, you need to take a shade of purple, blue or blue. You can combine colors. Cut out three petals of each shape and gently stretch their edges. We pay attention to the following feature: corrugated paper stretches in two directions, and not in four, so we outline the template so that the maximum stretching is possible along the side contours.
  3. To give the flower a correct form, irises from corrugated paper are desirable to be strengthened, so we attach a thin wire to each petal, leaving the tails at the base.
  4. A feature of irises is a yellow fluff on large petals. It can be created using a very finely chopped furry yarn. To do this, we apply a strip of glue to the center of three large parts and fill the top with fluff. You can also add iris naturalness by tinting its petals with light strokes of light paint.
  5. It remains to collect iris flowers from corrugated paper. First we connect the smallest petals, in the intervals between them we add the middle ones and from the bottom we attach the large ones.
  6. The last step is to connect the flower to the stem, wrap the remaining ends of the wires and the stem of the green tape tape. A charming iris is ready to please the eye!
