Before you prepare a French hot dog, place the sausages in boiling water for just a couple of minutes. Baget split in half or three times and send it warm in the oven. Remove some of the crumb from the core of the warm rolls just enough to place the sausage inside. Distribute a portion of mustard and ketchup on the surface of the sausage and put it in the hollow center of the bun.

Replace the standard sauce from a mixture of ketchup and mustard, and something more complex, for example, this white garlic sauce with spicy Dijon mustard and a small amount of garlic.

Preparation of the French hot dog is reduced to boiling sausages and frying baguette. If desired, You can replace the baguette with a standard bun for a hot dog, carefully removing the core from it. While the buns warm up under the grill, and the sausages are cooked, you can quickly mix the components of the sauce: mayonnaise, garlic chicken, horseradish sauce and mustard. Add the finished sauce with a good portion of freshly ground pepper and mix. Adjust the taste of the sauce at your own discretion, adding to it more or less sharp ingredients, or a mayonnaise base. In the sauce, you can also send finely chopped pickled cucumbers, fresh herbs, olives or capers.
