Traditional lahanorizo ​​is prepared simply and unpretentiously from rice of European varieties with vegetables in olive oil with the essential addition of lemon juice. The fixed strictly recipe lakhanorizo ​​does not exist, so there is room for your culinary fantasy.

Shred cabbage is not too thin. Onions are cut into quarter rings, and sweet peppers - short straws. Rice shall be filled with boiling water, wait 10 minutes, we will drain the water and carefully rinse with cold water.

Fry the onion in olive oil, add the cabbage and pepper. Fry all together, stirring, for 3-5 minutes. Be sure to add lemon juice after this (otherwise the vegetables will be boiled, as they say, into rags and will taste badly), enough juice squeezed out of half a lemon. Also add spices and washed rice.

It would be nice to add a white dining room to uninsulated home wine (if any), but it's easier to pour a little water. Next we will cook for about 8-16 minutes (depends on the type of rice). You can add tomato paste or fresh tomatoes, finely chopped - this component will improve the taste of the dish and strengthen the overall acidity of the environment, which prevents the excessive boiling of cabbage, pepper and onions. Finished lahanorizo ​​season with hot red pepper, add chopped greens and garlic.

It is possible to approach the preparation of lakhanorizo ​​even more simply and radically - the onion-frying field add washed rice directly with vegetables.

If you want a variant with meat - fry the onion and add 300-400 grams of minced meat. Fry all together until the color changes and add the rest of the ingredients. Just do not forget about lemon juice.
