Causes of very painful ovulation
The process of maturation and release of the egg is complex and at times unpredictable. So for doctors is still a secret, why in one cycle a woman can mature two eggs, or maybe not one. Of course, this phenomenon is sometimes considered the norm. Symptoms of painful ovulation
To distinguish the discomfort and malaise caused by the painful release of the ovule from the messengers of another disease is not so simple, especially if a woman encounters a similar phenomenon for the first time. But in general, painful ovulation can be recognized by the following signs:
- Pain sensations occur suddenly, as a rule, this occurs around the middle of the menstrual cycle.
- The pain can be localized either from the right or the left side above the womb, it can give to the pelvic bones and the groin area.
- The release of the egg can be accompanied by a slight malaise, weakness and nausea.
- Parallel to the pain sensations, other indirect signs of ovulation may appear, for example, the soreness of the mammary glands may appear, the amount and density of cervical mucus may increase.
As a rule, pain in ovulation is moderate pulling or aching character, and pass through the day. If, after 24 hours, there is no tendency to improve well-being, with vomiting, fever, and blood discharge, it is necessary to consult a doctor urgently, because such pronounced symptoms may indicate:
- salpingitis;
- ectopic pregnancy;
- appendicitis;
- ulcer, gastroenteritis and other gastrointestinal diseases.
