The basic idea of ​​making pork "in a royal way" is as follows: bake flat pieces of pork under a "coat." Products for the "coat" can be selected in different national and regional styles and combinations, you can definitely say that you will need grated hard cheese that will glue meat and layers of "fur coats" among themselves. And more: pork before baking should be slightly marinated, for example, in garlic juice and spices.

Sliced ​​meat slightly beaten and marinated, having blended with a mixture of ground spices. Leave at least 40 minutes or a little more. Let's cut the onion finely, and the mushrooms - a little larger. Let's cook the onion-mushroom sauce in a frying pan in butter. First, lightly saute onions, then add the mushrooms, mix and stew for 20 minutes.

Potatoes are cooked "in a uniform" almost to readiness (within 12-15 minutes), water is drained, potatoes are peeled and three are on a large grater.

We spread on the oiled baking sheet pieces of meat, a little sprinkled with each grated cheese. From above we impose and evenly distribute a piece of onion-mushroom sausage piece by piece. Again, sprinkle a little cheese. The next layer is laid out a portion of grated potatoes, sprinkled with cheese again and put thin slices of tomatoes. Bake in the oven for about 40-60 minutes (the optimum temperature is about 200 ° C). When the pork is ready, sprinkle each piece lightly with grated cheese and decorate with greens.

Serve with slices of dried white baguette, with light sauces (for example, garlic-mustard-lemon) and white or pink table wine.

Pork "royally" - an alternative recipe

Pork slightly beaten and marinated for 1 hour in a mixture of fresh pomegranate juice and hot red pepper with the addition of chopped garlic.

Wipe and dry the meat with a napkin so that no pieces of garlic are left (otherwise they will burn). Spread pieces of meat on a baking sheet, oiled. On top of each piece lightly sprinkle evenly grated cheese. Next, put the banana slices, sprinkle the cheese again, and the next layer - the slices of pineapple. From above - again we pour a thin layer of grated cheese and beautifully spread circles of sliced ​​olives. Bake in the oven for 40-60 minutes at a temperature of about 200 ° C, decorate with greens. We serve with fruit salads in the style of fusion (fruit + yogurt unsweetened, maybe chopped nuts), with creamy sauces or with fruit sweet and sour (for example, from orange and kiwi). You can serve strong special wines, Madeira, sherry white or pink vermouth, fruit brandy.
