Sometimes you want something unpretentious, but tasty. To a family dinner or dinner, you can cook stewed potatoes with sour cream. This is quite traditional for the post-Soviet space, a very tasty and satisfying dish.

Potatoes are cleaned and cut not too finely. We'll peel and finely chop the onions. We will heat the oil in a cauldron or a deep frying pan. Save the onion until golden. Add the potatoes and mix. Stew under a lid on low heat, periodically mixing with a spatula. If necessary, add some water. When the potatoes are almost ready, add sour cream, pepper and slightly add. We will warm up, but we will not bring it to the boil. Ready stewed potatoes in sour cream are placed in plates, soup cups, and better - beautiful terracotta bowls in a rural style. Season with chopped herbs and garlic.

Stewed potatoes in sour cream with mushrooms

It will be even tastier if you cook stewed potatoes in sour cream with mushrooms. Of course, it is better to use mushrooms grown artificially (white, champignons or oyster mushrooms), well, or those that grow in forests in natural environmentally normal conditions.

To the same proportion of products (see above) we take another 200-300 g of fresh mushrooms.

Mushrooms washed and thrown back in a colander, and then we throw off on a napkin. We cut the mushrooms finely, but not too much. Potatoes are cooked in the same way as described in the previous recipe, and fry the fry in a separate frying pan and stew with water under the lid on low heat for at least 20 minutes, until the excess liquid evaporates and a beautiful brownish hue appears. Add the mushrooms to the stew potatoes before pouring the sour cream. Mix and warm up. Season with spices, garlic and herbs. Let's wait about 10 minutes, and you can serve to the table.
