Professional readiness questionnaire

The vocational readiness questionnaire (OCG) is a wonderful way to determine which type of activity a person is most inclined to. It is based on the principle of a person's self-evaluation in the realization of various kinds of possibilities. The questionnaire of professional readiness, compiled by Kabardova, allows you to know about the quantity and quality of professionally oriented skills. Due to the results of such testing, it is possible to determine the person's inclination to different types of activity.

Principles of the questionnaire for determining professional readiness

The basis of the questionnaire is a person's assessment of his propensity to this or that type of activity. Each of the points of the question should be clear to him, and, preferably, passed through his own experience. Evaluating their own abilities for each of the proposed items, their emotional experiences, successes and failures, the person himself starts to note some inclinations.

The whole questionnaire is a set of items that are related to the representations of the five most common areas:

  1. Ч-З (The man is a sign).
  2. Ч-Т (The man is a technician).
  3. Ч-П (The man is nature).
  4. Ч-Х.о. (Man is an artistic image).
  5. CH-CH (Man is a man).

Depending on which area the person is most inclined to, one can also assess his professional suitability.

Vocational readiness questionnaire: results

Each column in the answer sheet corresponds to a specific type of occupation. Columns marked with letters, evaluate three answers to each question:

a - assessment of their skills; b - evaluation of your emotional relationship; c - evaluation of their professional preferences.

First you need to note those issue numbers that are marked "0" in the "skills" column. They are excluded from the processing, and two adjacent responses (if, for example, a series of answers - 0-5-11) on the corresponding scale are also excluded. They are taken into account only in the qualitative analysis of each of the spheres.

After that, the sum of points in each prof. sphere on three scales. The most preferable sphere of activity is carried out on the basis of the area in the "professional preferences" scale with the highest total score. The most favorable spheres are those where all three estimates are equally large. Those. "8-10-9" is preferable to "4-12-8". To narrow the scope, you need to analyze the answers "1-2-1", etc., with low scores. In addition to general data, this will allow us to evaluate professions from related spheres.
