Most often it is electric wafer wafers used for the preparation of thin wafers. Such waffles in hot form can be twisted into a tube and filled with your favorite cream, but we decided to serve them simply with powdered sugar.

Whisk eggs with sugar using a mixer. Without reducing the speed, add to the egg mixture melted butter (or margarine), as well as slaked with lemon juice soda. The flour is sieved and gradually added to the rest of the ingredients, stirring constantly.

Waffle iron, pre-washed and dried, lubricate a small amount of vegetable oil with a napkin. A well-heated red aggregate is filled with a test: pour into the center a tablespoon of dough and squeeze the top half of the waffle iron well. After a minute and a half we take out the wafer cake and roll it into a tube. We serve waffles prepared in the Soviet electric wafer with fresh fruit, sprinkled with powdered sugar.

In a deep bowl, mix sifted flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. We put the dry ingredients aside. Waffle iron is lubricated with oil and put on a hot plate.

In a separate bowl, beat eggs with milk, melted butter and vanilla extract. Constantly stir dry ingredients with a whisk and pour milk to them with a thin trickle. Mix a homogeneous thick dough. We pour a couple of tablespoons of dough on the heated waffle iron and close the unit. Fry the wafers 3-5 minutes on both sides until golden brown. We serve waffles with melted honey, syrup, or ice cream.

Waffles can be an interesting option of a portioned dessert at a banquet, or a cocktail party. The original presentation and an interesting mix of flavors does not at all resemble traditional Soviet recipes, but for cooking we need a simple retro waffle iron.

Separate the egg whites from the yolks and beat with sugar until solid peaks. Waffle iron lubricate with oil and set to warm up on fire.

In a bowl, beat egg yolks, flour, milk and melted butter. Gently add whipped protein to the resulting mixture and mix with a spatula.

We take wooden ice cream sticks and put them on the edges of the waffle iron. Pour over the dough and cover the wafer with the second half. Wafers will be ready in 4-5 minutes.

Chocolate melted. Nuts are crushed with a knife. Finished homemade waffles are dipped in chocolate, sprinkled with nuts and large salt.
