How to use a breast pump?

- Sterilize the breast pump and collect it according to the instructions.
- Wash your hands thoroughly, massage your chest and relax. Imagine that now you will breastfeed your baby.
- Arrange the nipple in the center of the flange, while you should not feel any discomfort, and the nipple should not rub against the plastic of the device. If you have a pump model, rhythmically press the pear. If the model is piston, select a convenient speed by lowering the lever several times. When using the electric model, start at the minimum speed. Milk comes first with drops, then either a thin even stream, or a pulsating stream. During the procedure, you should not experience pain.
- If the milk stops flowing, remove the breast pump from the breast. Usually this happens 12-15 minutes after the start when using a manual breast pump, and twice as fast when using an electric pump.
- After use, disassemble, rinse and dry the device.
