But you can use hydrogen peroxide in the ear, both for cosmetic cleaning of the passage from sulfur, and to release it from the plugs.
Hydrogen peroxide is an application in the ear

In fact, hydrogen peroxide, which is sold in a pharmacy, has a very low concentration (3% or 5%), posing no threat, both to the inner and outer parts of the ear. Equally incorrect is the claim that it is impossible to clean the ears of sulfur at all, since it is a natural protective layer. In fact, sulfur only keeps the dust, dirt, and, correspondingly, bacteria getting inside the shell. Therefore, it should be regularly removed to avoid penetration of pathogens into the ear.
How to clean the ears with hydrogen peroxide?
For the described hygienic procedure it is necessary:
- Moisten a thin cotton swab in 3% hydrogen peroxide. With sensitive skin, you can dilute the drug with water in equal parts.
- Put a tampon in the sink, leave it there for a few (3-5) minutes.
- Remove the tampon, clean the ears with cotton swabs.
If there is little sulfur or cleaning is carried out quite often, you can just rub your ear lightly inside a thin swab dipped in peroxide.

Large accumulations of sulfur in the ears require more thorough cleansing:
- Hydrogen peroxide 3% in the amount of 10-20 drops diluted in 15 ml (one tablespoon) of pure water
