About a third of all inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity is streptococcal angina. Treatment of streptococcal angina

Antibiotics are used to suppress the proliferation of pathogenic microorganisms. The purpose of a specific drug is made only after the results of laboratory tests of the smear from the oral cavity, as well as determining the sensitivity of microbes to various medications.

Effective antibiotics from streptococcal angina:

The course of therapy should be at least 5, but not more than 10 days, as a rule, it lasts 7 days.

It is worth noting that the results of treatment are manifested after 48-72 hours. If this does not happen, the medication should be replaced.

Also, with angina, a streptococcal bacteriophage is prescribed, a preparation of immunobiological action. It is not an antibiotic, but it has a selective depressant effect on pathogens.

To reduce the severity of symptoms it is recommended to take antipyretic drugs (Paracetamol, Ibuprofen, Nimesulide), antihistamines (Loratadine). Cleansing of the tonsils from the plaque is done through antiseptic solutions - Rotocana, Furacilin, Chlorophyllitis, decoctions of medicinal herbs.
