Almonds for weight loss

Studies of Spanish, English and American scientists say that almonds will be a good assistant for women who want to get rid of unnecessary weight and acquire a beautiful silhouette.

That's why almonds help to lose weight: along with some other products, almonds belong to the so-called super food group. It means products, a small number of which can provide the human body with the maximum amount of nutrients. All nuts occupy almost the first place in this list, since hunger is very easily extinguished.


Are almonds and weight loss compatible?

However, almonds proved to be especially effective for weight loss. Experts from the University of Barcelona observed two groups of people wishing to lose weight. In the first group participants daily ate almonds, while observing a low-calorie diet. In the second group, people followed the same diet, but during the snacks they used carbohydrates such as crackers.

Scientists have found that almonds in combination with diet had a much more effective effect. At the same time, only 30 grams (one handful) of raw almonds per day will be a sufficient help for the worst women.

Almond is not only useful for losing weight. All nuts are rich in useful fats that help in the formation of bones, the prevention of chronic diseases, improving vision and health of the brain.

In addition, a link has been established between nut consumption and high levels of serotonin, a substance that reduces appetite, stimulates good health, and improves heart health. And although serotonin is known as a brain substance, almost 90% of it is produced in the intestine, and only 10% - in the central nervous system, where the mental mood and appetite of a person is regulated.

According to the scientists, new discoveries contradict the widely held belief that nuts should be avoided, since they contain many calories and therefore are full.
