Amaranth bread

Many consider amaranth a malignant weed that in a few years can clog all fields with industrially beneficial crops. This is true if it concerns specifically the type of amaranth that grows in our region. However, there are also useful varieties of this plant, which are often included in the diet due to the high content of amino acids and fats in the culture. Due to this special popularity gained amaranth bread.

Since the amaranth itself does not contain gluten, and therefore is not suitable for the base of the dough in pure form, it is mixed with a base of wheat flour.
