Dietary cheese

Those who adhere to a low-calorie diet, try to refrain from eating cheese. After all, this product, by default, always has a high fat content - at least 40%. But nutrition experts advise not to give up this treat. Just need to choose a diet cheese. It can be different, but most importantly - it has invariably low fat content, which, however, can vary depending on the variety.

The most dietary cheese

The most recognized leader in the category of "dietary" among the cheeses is ricotta. His birthplace is Italy, and there he is extremely popular. In other countries, it is almost always possible to buy it in large grocery stores. This dietary cheese in appearance reminds us of a hard material that is not familiar to us, but a soft mass. Low-calorie ricotta has only 2-5% fat content, although there are varieties and with 20% fat content. Ideally, sugar or other impurities should not be added to it, then its nutritional value is only 110 kcal per 100 grams. Cheese is perfectly combined with greens, fruits, they can stuff vegetables used as pastes for sandwiches.

Other dietary cheeses

To challenge the ricotta title of the most dietary cheese may well be soybean tofu. Its fat content usually does not exceed 4%, but it contains the lion's share of protein. But, alas, tofu in its pure form is completely tasteless, therefore, according to most consumers, it is inferior to the Italian product.

The next in the list of dietary cheeses is brynza. But only the one that has a fat content of 10%. A hundred grams of the product contains 250 kcal. But also in brynza there is a lot of salt, so it is not shown to everyone who follows a diet. Mild to taste analogue - feta cheese, with which it is customary to make a "real" Greek salad.

Also to the diet can be attributed "Gaudette" - a low-calorie version of the famous sort of cheese "Gouda". It has a fat content of only 7%.
