"Medovik" is a Soviet classic, which, nevertheless, has gained popularity internationally. The reasons for this are obvious: a stunning taste bordering on an elementary simple list of ingredients, so characteristic of desserts that originated in that time, provided a delicacy of national love. Of course, that having spread across different continents, the recipe for "Medovika" has been transformed in accordance with the gastronomy of a particular region and some interpretations of the classics will be discussed in the recipes further.

While the oven is heated to 175 degrees, turn the eggs and granulated sugar into a whitish creamy mixture. Over the water bath place dishes with honey and oil cubes, and as soon as the last melts, pour the egg mass, stirring constantly, cook the basis for the dough for 3-4 minutes. Put in the soda and leave it for a second. When the mixture is doubled in volume, pour the sifted flour and beat the dough for a couple of minutes at the average speed of the mixer. After kneading the coma with your hands, divide it into eight parts and turn each into a layer, knead them with a fork and bake until tender.

Since we are resurrecting the classic recipe for honey cake, we will cook it with a custard. For the latter, heat the milk, pour the eggs with honey, whisk them continuously, return the mixture to the fire and cook, continuously working with a whisk. Add the starch, wait for the thickening and leave the mixture to cool. Supplement the classic cream for honey cake with soft oil, adding pieces while beating the mixture with a mixer. Lubricate each prepared cake and collect the treat together. Decorate "Medoviki" is made of crumb of scraps of honey cakes, but you can replace it with nuts or a crumb of chocolate.

Put the four first ingredients in a saucepan and place them over a water bath. When the oil is dispersed and the sugar is melted, remove the dishes from the fire, add the baking powder with flour and leave the dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Divide the cub into eight parts, each roll and bake until it turns brown at 180 degrees. Saturate the cooled skins with a cream of whipped cream with the addition of powdered sugar and sour cream.

Place the whipped eggs with sugar and honey on a water bath. Wait for the sugar crystals to dissolve. Put the cubes of butter, let them disperse, and then pour in the soda and leave the mixture to rise 2-3 times. After removing the container from the steam, add the flour and mix the dough. Dividing the lump into 7 parts, roll each and bake in a preheated to 175 degrees oven to browning. Trim the cakes and turn the trimmings into crumbs.

Whisk the condensed milk with soft butter, cream each cake and collect the honey cake according to the classic recipe. Decorate the treat with crumbs and refrigerate for 4-6 hours.
