Potato chips at home in the oven

First you need to choose a potato of equal size and it would be good if it was oblong, cylindrical. Then the slices will be the same size. We clean and cut it with a vegetable cutter, (it will not be possible to cut a kitchen knife). Potato slices should be equally thin, up to 2 mm. After a good rinse potatoes, getting rid of excess starch. We put it back in a colander and after that we spread it on the towel and dry it. All potatoes are transferred to a bowl, add oil, salt, paprika, spices and gently mix. Now put on a baking sheet in one layer and put in a heated oven to 200 degrees. For the preparedness is enough for 15-20 minutes, intermediate checks on the readiness will not interfere, the oven is different for everyone. We extract the chips and lay them on a paper towel in order to absorb the excess oil.

Chips in the home in a frying pan

We clean potatoes, cut them, wash them and dry them, pour out the oil into a deep frying pan and heat them. After every couple of minutes, lower the edge of the potato mug to check the temperature. When there are characteristic bubbles means the temperature is optimal - we dip the potato slices into it. But not all at once, they must swim without difficulty, without touching each other. After three minutes we turn them over, and after another two or three we take out and spread them on a paper towel. So we do not fry everything yet. After the salt and add the spices, put on a sheet for baking and in the oven for three to five minutes at 200 degrees.

Chips at home in the microwave

This is another, probably for many, the simplest recipe, telling how to make homemade chips.

We take the largest plate, which fits in the microwave and cover it with baking paper. Mix the potato slices, with a thickness of not more than 2 mm with other ingredients and spread on the selected plate in one layer. We send it to the microwave for 3 minutes at maximum power. We take out, turn the potatoes and again at the same time into the microwave. It should be noted that the cooking time can vary, since it depends on the microwave power.
