Lenten sweets

The majority of the believing Orthodox people observe the forty-day fast. Ah, but what about these days, madly want a sweetie, which is full on the shelves of shops but, unfortunately, with the content of banned animal fats. Do not despair, because, we know how to cook very delicious lean candy and will gladly tell you in your recipes how to make them yourself in cozy home conditions.

Chocolate candy with your own hands

Ingredients:

Take a real, black chocolate that does not have regular or dry milk in its composition and, accordingly, without other animal components. We put it in a container placed on a water bath and stirring, completely melting. Cells of a special shape made of silicone, for the production of sweets, abundantly lubricated (without gaps) with chocolate. After we expose it somewhere for 20 minutes in the refrigerator compartment.

Cherry is thrown from the jar to the colander, and the syrup is collected into the container under it. Almond put in a coffee grinder and grind it to a state of similar flour. Pour 100 grams of syrup, pour it into the bowl with almond flour and mix it with it, until you get a not very rare gruel.

We take the form and place the cherry on the center of each cell. Cover it with a small amount of gruel from almond flour with syrup and pour to the edges of the molds with the remaining black chocolate. The form is sent again in the cold and wait until the chocolate is completely frozen for 30-40 minutes.

Sweets of cocoa

Ingredients:

In a large Turk or a metal mug, pour dark cocoa with sugar and add to them vegetable oil, drinking water. We put everything on the burner with slow fire and stirring, bring the resulting chocolate to a boil. After boil it 3 or even 4 minutes and set it aside so that it will cool down a little.

Seeds of sunflower, together with the kernels of walnuts scrolling through a meat grinder, with a frequent grating. Pour into this mixture vanillin, sifted sugar powder and mix it all together. Pour a little cooled chocolate, mix again with a spoon and get a homogeneous mass, from which we roll with clean hands balls, like small round candy. We put them on a large, flat dish and to freeze the candy, put a plate with them in the refrigerator. We get them in 45-50 minutes, we roll half of these wonderful, lean candies in dark cocoa, and the second part of them in powdered sugar.

Lenten candies from dried fruits and nuts

Ingredients:

Duck together with dried apricots for at least an hour in cold water. After merge with dried fruits water, from the dates we take out unnecessary bones and scroll them along with two kinds of raisins, peeled hazelnuts and dried apricots on a fine grinder net. With the lemon peeled or cut the skin, cut, remove from the middle of the bones and then pass through the meat grinder. We mix it with the whole mass, which in the process is filled with buckwheat honey. We constantly moisten the handles in water and we mold from the obtained candy mixture. We put them somewhere for 50-60 minutes in the refrigerator, and after that one can enjoy their unusual taste with a cup of favorite tea.
