The most common and dangerous pests of beans are beans, sprouts, slugs and aphids.

Bean grain is more common in areas with a warm climate. It is a black beetle with a body size of 2-5 mm round, with yellow-gray spots on its back. She lays eggs in the leaves of ripening pods - 60 eggs per clutch. After 3 weeks pupated larvae damage seeds, making them unfit for food or for sowing.

What to spray the beans from the pest grain: in case of a lesion it is necessary to perform a two-fold treatment with "Metaphos" or "Decisis". The first time before flowering, the second - 10 days after the first.

Rostkovaya fly - an insect with three dark stripes on the back, about 5 mm long. It damages crops of beans in the spring. When the pupae overwinter in the soil turn into butterflies, they lay their eggs directly in the moist soil. After 9 days, larvae degenerate and are introduced into the germinating seeds of the bean in the shoot outlets. Seeds after that rot and die, not allowing sprouting.

The fight against pests of beans in this case is the quality of the soil before sowing, the timely planting of seeds, the autumn application of manure with careful incorporation into the ground. Before sowing, bean seeds should be soaked in a growth stimulant for faster germination.

Slugs leave behind their movements on the leaves of silvery paths, they eat leaves and young beans of beans. Especially dangerous are these sliders in rainy and cool periods.

Than to process a bean from the given wreckers: from national means it is possible to apply ash, mulching with henna and dry nettles. You can also prikopat near the garden a trimmed bottle with a dark beer - slugs will gather in a trap and drown.
