Now we rub the duck with salt and the prepared sauce, we stuff the potatoes boiled to semi-preparedness (previously peeled off), sprinkle it with fried onions and put it in the oven for 1 hour. Cover the stuffed duck with foil so that it does not burn, and leave to prepare for another 1.5 hours. After that, we remove the foil and leave it in the oven for another 30 minutes. A ready-made duck can be poured over melted butter from above.

Using the same recipe, you can prepare a duck stuffed with potatoes and mushrooms. To do this, champignons or any other mushrooms cut into small pieces, mix with the potato filling and fill the bird from the inside.

You can use only mushrooms as ingredients. For a duck recipe stuffed with mushrooms, you will take about 400 g of product. Fry them with onions, mix with duck giblets and fill the bird from the inside.

Duck stuffed with sauerkraut

Cabbage, soaked in the outstanding fat from the duck, will acquire a piquant taste, its acid will soften. And this recipe is perfect for cranberry sauce for meat .
