Turkey with rice

Turkey and rice are excellent products, perfectly suitable, including, for dietary nutrition. Both products contain a lot of substances useful for the human body and are, you might say, super products.

How to cook turkey with rice?

Turkey is harmoniously combined with rice in various dishes. For example, you can make a delicious turkey soup with rice.

Cook broth from the turkey wing until ready (about 1 hour 30 minutes) with a whole onion and spices. We extract the wing and separate the meat from the bones. Bow and bay leaves are thrown away, and chopped meat is returned to the broth. Add the carrots, cut into strips, potato slices and washed rice.

Cook at low boiling for 10 minutes and add the sweet pepper, cut into strips. We cook for another 5-8 minutes. We pour out on plates or soup cups and season with chopped herbs and garlic. You can also use it to make a cervical soup or back.

You can cook turkey fillets with rice, and in many ways. For example, the fillet can be boiled, as in the previous recipe (see above), use soup for soup preparation, cook rice separately and serve some sauce.

You can cook a baked turkey with rice. In this case, rice is also better to cook separately. If you have a whole carcass, it is better not to bake it whole, but to cut it into pieces - it will be more rational and more profitable, and baking a whole turkey is a long process. From separate parts of the turkey it is possible to prepare different dishes: the breast and thighs are good for baking, the shins, the wings and legs can be put on the cold (it will perfectly harden without gelatin), the back, neck and head are good for making broths. Although, of course, baked entirely festive turkey - this is a separate topic.

The meat of the turkey is lean, so before baking the turkey fillet can be lightly marinated, for example, in a fat homemade kefir with a mixture of curry and chopped garlic. Marinue for at least 2 hours.

Then we wash the fillet pieces and drain them. We pack each piece in greased foil and bake in the oven at a temperature of about 200 degrees C for about 1.5 hours. Finished baked fillet sliced ​​and served with boiled rice and sauce. Of course, do not forget to decorate the dish with greens.
