Candied fruits from orange peels
Ingredients:
- orange - 5 pcs .;
- sugar - 2 items;
- water boiled - 1 item;
- butter - 1 tbsp. a spoon.
Preparation
For the preparation of candied fruits from orange peels we take oranges, carefully wash them under a stream of hot water. Gently cut the crust on each fruit crosswise with a sharp knife and carefully remove it. Then cut the orange peel into thin small strips and put them in a ladle with cold water. We put on a weak fire and cook for about 20 minutes. Then merge carefully the water and pour a new one. Repeat this process at least 3 times. Thanks to this reception our crusts will become soft and will not be bitter. The last time we add a little salt to the boiling water. Then we prepare sweet syrup from sugar and water and fill the crusts. Cook everything until all the water is completely absorbed into the orange peel. Now take a flat dish, pour sugar on it, spread the crusts and mix it so that all the candied fruits are covered. Leave them for a couple of hours, so they are properly dried.
Orange candied fruits in chocolate
Ingredients:
- orange - 2 pieces;
- sugar - 300 g;
- water - 300 ml;
- cream - 30 ml;
- cocoa powder - 2 tbsp. a spoon;
- powdered sugar - 2 tbsp. spoons.
Preparation
The recipe for making orange candied fruits is quite simple. We take oranges, mine, we clean, we shall fill with boiling water and we cut in circles in the thickness approximately 5 mm. Then put them in a saucepan, pour cold water and simmer for 3 minutes
