Today we will cook a cowberry pie from a short pastry. A tart note of cowberry, combined with the tenderness of cottage cheese, creates the divine taste characteristics of dessert.

To make a short dough for a pie with cranberries, grind sugar and butter and add whipped egg whites with a pinch of salt. In a separate vessel we sift the flour, add baking powder and mix. Combine the dry mixture with butter and knead the soft short pastry. We form a lump from it, wrap it with food film and place it in the refrigerator for thirty minutes.

In the meantime, wash the cranberries and lay them on a napkin or towel to dry. Cottage cheese is passed through a fine strainer or smashed to a smoothness with a blender. Add some whipped with sugar and vanilla sugar eggs, pour the starch and mix well.

We distribute the cooled dough in a detachable shape, forming the sides, and pour out the curd mixture. Sprinkle the cake with berries of cranberries and put the shape in a preheated oven for up to 180 degrees for forty-five minutes or until the desired degree of browning.

On readiness, we give the pie to cool in shape to a warm state, and then cut it in portions and can serve.
