PEGANO Diet

John Pegano is a doctor, a specialist from Lincoln University who devoted 25 years of life to studying such a mysterious disease as psoriasis. He derived his own theory of the origin of psoriasis, which consists in the deterioration of the intestinal tightness, when, due to poor emptying, the waste of life is not removed by the intestines, but seeping into the blood and lymph, try to "get out" through the skin.

The diet of J.Pegano

To treat and minimize psoriasis, John Pegano offers a diet for psoriasis, which will reduce acidity and increase alkalinity in the body. For this, the diet for Pegano contains 60-70% of alkaline products, and 30-40% of acidic foods.

Alkaline products

All fruits except: cranberries, blueberries, prunes, currants. Apples , melons are eaten, as a separate food, without combining with other products. Citrus fruits and juices are not combined with dairy products.

Vegetables - exclude all Solanaceae, allowed in minimal doses of legumes, pumpkins, rhubarb, Brussels sprouts.

Juices with pegano diet:

Alkaline mineral waters: Borjomi, Esentuki-4, etc.

Nuts: you can have almonds, hazelnuts in minimum quantity.

Preparation

All fruits and vegetables with John Pegano diet should preferably be fresh. It is allowed to bake and stew products, to freeze. Canned food and frying are not allowed. And as for apples, the best option here is baked apples.

Acid products

Products that increase acidity do not need to be completely eliminated, they should constitute 30-40% of the diet and should be consumed without intermixing them separately.

When feeding on Pegano it is recommended to eat different fish 4 times a week. Fish are advised:

The main condition - do not fry fish!

Twice a week you can eat poultry, but not greasy, without skin, only white meat is better. Pork, beef is excluded, but lamb is allowed (but not fried).

Also, the diet of Pegano suggests the use of dairy products without exceptions, but with a low fat content. You can eat boiled and cooked soft-boiled eggs.

And the best oil for psoriasis is olive oil. It, by the way, is recommended as a laxative (1 teaspoon per day). You can drink tea, but not black, and herbal, chamomile, from watermelon family.

As you can see, a diet with psoriasis contains all the products necessary for health and well-being, under which a person will not go mad from hunger and bans.
